Hey Everyone!!! I am Bambi Dunleavy, owner and operator of Your Payroll Shoppe, Inc. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a wife, mother of 4, and grandmother of 2 (so far). I knew when I was a teenager that one day I wanted to be an accountant. As many people do, I let life get ahead of me. I never allowed myself to believe that I could ever be anything other than just another employee. I worked various jobs over the years but never felt like I was going anywhere.
I came to a point in my life, when I was 31 and just had my 3rd child that I knew I needed to make a change, and this was the time to do it. I checked out various schools until I found one that I felt was suited to me and began my journey. While in school I was given an opportunity to begin working for a local tax and accounting office. In 2013, I graduated from Sullivan University with my Associates of Science in Accounting degree.
For the past 8 years I have continued to work in that accounting office where I would finally realize my dreams. Over the years, I have been processing the payroll and accounting for many of the customers as an employee building my experience and knowledge base that you can only learn by doing and not just focusing on a textbook. It was one day while my boss was on vacation that he had a realization that he no longer wanted to continue offering payroll services. I knew that if I didn’t express my interest, I would soon be out of a job. I decided to let my boss know that payroll and accounting was what I was most passionate about with my job. He then gave me an offer I could have never dreamed of. He offered me the chance to start my own business and take over the payroll that he was going to let go of.
Now here I am, owner of Your Payroll Shoppe, Inc., working as hard as I can every day to become a fully successful business. I am simply just a small business owner like all of my customers who wants to be successful. I now understand the blood, sweat, tears, and sacrifices my customers have made to build their businesses.
Your Payroll Shoppe, Inc. will be here to provide the payroll and accounting services based on my customer’s needs.
